With a few simple prompts, Claude’s latest “Computer Use” feature can literally take control of your mouse and interact with your PC, creating text files, filling out forms, etc.

Are the days of basic admin jobs coming to an end?

The hype cycle continues… With headlines like “This changes everything” appearing every other day, it’s easy to grow tired of hearing about “the next big thing in AI.”

It’s important to remember what really matters here. For both you and me, it’s about not being left behind. Whether you agree or not, every employer in the cloud and security space over the next 10 years is going to be looking for some form of AI exposure.

Cool projects like this help keep it fun while ensuring your skill set stays relevant. Small, fun projects like this lay the groundwork for further research and, I hope, generally point in the right direction.

Just a quick note before we start: we’re going to be using an Anthropic account here, and you’ll need to top it up with some credits to use your API key. You could also use AWS Bedrock, but we’ll save that for another time.
