Less than One month!
TechTwoForty officially opens November 14th!
I want to show you what Iāve been building in the evenings, whatās inside, and how iāve designed it in a way that I think will really help.
What is it?
Tech Two Forty is my beginner course for Cloud Security and DevSecOps.
No shouting ā
No hustle culture ā
No standing in front of a rented sports car telling you to learn CyberSecurity in my Ā£1000 bootcamp ā
No ālearn the cloud in 90 daysā nonsense ā
Ten modules, each with a project you build. Stating with the fundamentals:
Networking Fundamentals
How the Internet Actually Fits Together
Keys and Trust
Cloud vs Traditional Infrastructure
Identity and Access Basics
Threats and Vulnerabilities
Then we work through Linux, Python, AWS, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, security benchmarks, AI, Security & Git.
Whatās actually inside?
This is the bit Iām most excited about.
Animated explainers. Every section opens with a short animation showing how the thing works before you touch it. Terraform state, Git branches, how a request travels through AWS.
Walkthroughs: This is where we put what we have covered in the animation section to use.
Quizzes. A few quick questions after each section. Not exams. Just a check that it stuck.
A proper capstone. Each section ends with mini project but here all the units merge together with one final project you can put on your CV and can talk through in an interview.
Why build it like this?
Eight years ago I was lost. Iām also dyslexic and most tech education just didnāt work for how my brain works.
Things only clicked when I found a clearer, more visual way to learn. So thatās what I built.
Itās designed with dyslexia in mind (thereās even a dyslexia friendly toggle on the site with the walkthroughs)
Really, though, itās for anyone who wants learning to feel a bit more manageable.
And then the job bitā¦
Learning the skills is half of it. Getting hired is the other half.
So you also get a career path template (what to learn first, how to sequence your projects, which roles to target at each stage) and a CV and portfolio template
Answer three quick questions and get your own route into the industry. Youāll see:
- the first job to aim for and where it leads
- which cert to sit first and which to skip
- what each role pays in the UK and US
- how to handle applying, interviews and your first offer
Now build what youāll send. Tap together a one page CV where every line comes from a project you built on the course, so you can back it up in an interview. You also get:
- READMEs for your three GitHub repos, one paste each
- your LinkedIn headline and About
- a cover letter
Is it for you?
It is if youāre starting from zero or changing careers, you need something self paced around work or family, or youād rather build real things than memorise theory.
Itās not if youāre cramming for a specific cert, you need a job in four weeks (no course can promise that), or you already work in Cloud Security.
If thatās you, no worries at all. Iāll still be here every week with projects.
Calm, practical & self paced training to help you break into Cloud Security & DevSecOps
