I agree about asking your employer. It also stops you from being pigeon holed or typecast. Even better if you can become the 'go to' person for advice on subjects that may well be underrepresented in your department.
Totally. I think it’s easy to assume, someone else in the company will be the SME in that area but often, especially in today’s market, it’s not the case. You can be that person!
